Clubbing Wild Animals – A GAME???

Fifteen young people in rural south-central Wisconsin, including some from Beaver Dam High School, made a game out of chasing down and beating small animals to death with bats and clubs, authorities said Wednesday.

The 10 adults and five juveniles pursued, shined and killed the animals, mostly raccoons and opossums, according to the state Department of Natural Resources. The killings occurred last spring in areas of Columbia and Dodge counties.

“They awarded points for the accumulation of dead animals of different species,” Conservation Warden Paul Nadolski of the DNR office in Poynette said in a written statement.

The group was cited for 158 single violations, including illegally killing protected wild animals, hunting without a license, hunting with an illegal weapon and unreasonable waste of a natural resource, according to Dave Holmes, Conservation Warden Supervisor for the DNR’s south central region.

The violations are not considered criminal. However, the citations carry standard forfeitures of about $222, which can be raised by a court to up to about $2,150, Holmes said.

“We would like to see these types of actions stopped, and the only way we think we can stop them is through stiff penalties,” Holmes said.

Swanke was charged with five counts of reckless endangerment and one count of attempting to flee an officer, according to the DNR. He was arrested with several of the others on April 3 in Columbia County after DNR wardens caught the group chasing animals with spotlights and clubs.

He is accused of leading DNR wardens on a chase that reached speeds of more than 85 mph, Holmes said. The wardens did not know Swanke had passengers in the bed of his truck at the time.

Holmes said a search of the truck yielded several bats and homemade clubs, some embedded with nails and screws for spikes.

Those involved in the killings said they were “cooning,” Holmes said.

“It involved raccoons, opossums, muskrats, whatever animals were slow enough that they felt they could pursue and kill,” Holmes said.

The case is at least the fourth this year in which authorities suspected people of killing large numbers of wild animals in Wisconsin.

Holmes said it was very disturbing that those involved in the clubbings made a game out of their actions but stopped short of calling them thrill-killings.

“What was just as disturbing was the group-think philosophy,” he said. “They were not strong enough to stand up and say, ‘This is wrong.’ ”

What really is disturbing is that this crap really happens. These violations are not considered criminal? Seriously? Let’s round these clowns up and toss them in the middle of a field. Let’s shine lights in their eyes and beat them within inches of death. Lets see who is laughing then. How many points are their asses worth?

Holmes stopped short of calling these “Thill-Killings”. Why? What else was this? He would also like to see these kinds of actions stopped? Wow, a real genius.

We need stricter penalties here. How about an eye for an eye? Think you can dish it out? Well, be prepared to take it. The fight then will be about cruel and unusual punishment. Don’t you think what they did was cruel?

Well, as the saying goes, history tends to repeat itself. I just moved and thought I got away from it. Nope, I was wrong.

So I journey to the bathroom and what do we have? Yes, the workings of the new-found Illinois Toilet Assassin. There may be a connection between the Wisconsin and Illinois assassins. The work was pulled off with the same level of precision and devastation. We almost have a positive identification on the Illinois Toilet Assassin. Details will follow once they become available. Any information leading to the identification of the Wisconsin Toilet Assassin would be greatly appreciated.

The Toilet Assassin Strikes Again!

Toilet Assassin

Breaking news out of Wisconsin. The feared Toilet Assassin has struck again. Around 2:45pm, a small muffled explosion was heard resonating from the men’s bathroom followed by an awful odor. Another porcelain bowl completely destroyed, another mess left for the next in line. The only evidence left; a bit of bowl splatter and wadded toilet paper. Who is this person, this animal? How can they do this day after day? Attempts at identifying this person have been made, but have failed. I have been following this criminal for years. From the stalls at Wal-Mart to the thrones of Macy’s, this person has no compassion. Toilet after toilet – destroyed. How can we stop this monster? How much more of this madness can we take?

WESTON, Wis. — An 11-year-old girl died after her parents prayed for healing rather than seek medical help for a treatable form of diabetes, police said Tuesday.

Everest Metro Police Chief Dan Vergin said Madeline Neumann died Sunday.”She got sicker and sicker until she was dead,” he said. Vergin said an autopsy determined the girl died from diabetic ketoacidosis, an ailment that left her with too little insulin in her body, and she had probably been ill for about 30 days, suffering symptoms like nausea, vomiting, excessive thirst, loss of appetite and weakness.

The girl’s parents, Dale and Leilani Neumann, attributed the death to “apparently they didn’t have enough faith,” the police chief said. They believed the key to healing “was it was better to keep praying. Call more people to help pray,” he said.

The mother believes the girl could still be resurrected, the police chief said.

Let’s all pray that these fanatical holy wackjobs don’t have any more children. They attributed the death to “apparently not having enough faith”? How about attributing it to being just being plain stupid. The common treatment for diabetic ketoacidosis has been around for a while – it is nothing new. Crawl out from under you holy shell and wake up! Live life in the real world. Not in some perceived world of false hope.
